The PFFPNC newsletter for January 12 – 16 is now posted and focuses on the nationwide transition to the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS), a major modernization of how the fire service documents incidents and uses data to support operations, safety, and resource advocacy. NERIS replaces the outdated NFIRS system and better captures today’s all-hazards and EMS-driven workload. The role IAFF affiliates played in shaping a system grounded in real-world fire service needs. Strong data directly supports staffing decisions, grant funding, policy development, and firefighter safety.

Are you donating to our NCFIREFAC? NCFIREPAC is the political action fund created by the Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics of North Carolina. The funds are used to support fire fighter/paramedic friendly individuals running for office in NC.
