The PFFPNC e-newsletter for March 24-28 is now posted and includes a report on the controversy surrounding Fire Station 13 in New Hanover County. County officials have launched an investigation into alleged social media threats they claim have endangered staff safety. The investigation has resulted in the paid administrative suspension of a fire captain who had publicly raised concerns about potential health hazards linked to contamination at the station.
